Nice to read that boot works also from SD card. But I doubt you would have fun long time with it cause there will be much write actions to filesystem on the card during runtime. Do you have the complete installation on this card, means only one partition for all stuff of / (root)? This still won't hurt for a long time. But I'd recommend to use ext2 instead of a journaling file system.
