Libreoffice SLKBUILD (3.4.x and 3.5.x branch)
Hello friends of Salix. After a long time without writing in the forum, I return to action with this SLKBUILD to LibreOffice 3.4 and 3.5. Based on the work of gapan, what I did was to update everything to this version, and fixed the executables for .desktop files. Without further ado, here's the scr...

Re: The means overcome the end
I use xfce. The symbolic link suggested by slackware works fine for me. But each configuration is different. You'll have to get those patches from other sources. I think some users have talked about that issue in another post, I don't remember now.

Upgrading to Salix 13.37 - sensible packages
Hi guys. I have a newbie question: I upgraded salix according to the steps of documentation-wiki for version 13.1 to the 13.37. I updated the package zzz-settings, kernel, udev, util-linux and I had no problems. Should I upgrade packages as "aaa_base" and "rootuser-settings"? Or ...

Re: Minimum Hardware Requirements for Salix
Is your PC using the K6-2? I have read that the K6-2 has a much lower performance than Pentium 2 with recent kernels. This is what worries me. But I may not understand this well. English is not my native language. Don't worry, my native language is Spanish (Castellano, o "Español")...
