just a follow up. I managed to re-download the beta1 .iso and tried to replace the directory. unfortunately I couldn't modify the original .iso's and tried copying all the files to a new folder then creating an .iso from that using AnyToIso but it balked trying to open the files for read access.

This seems to be a problem specific to virtualbox for some reason. And very specific versions of virtualbox too. I have version 4.1.18 and it works fine. Also isos works fine in real PCs and also under qemu too.

well, I assumed it would work fine on Metal :D I am using VB 4.2.2 and have already added GA's to all my current guests. I guess I will fiddle with it.

a couple things, I mentioned this in the beta1 thread but for some reason Pidgin will not connect. Everything else does. The other thing was, now that Sourcery is pointing to Slackware 14 packages I assume, anyone have any idea why Conky would require Audacious as a dependency?
