I haven't the time to read, but the message seems to be "Welcome to
grub".

Yes! It's works now!
I don't understand why
grub 2 didn't want to work with salix-fluxbox and salix-ratpoison on my old 12 years old computer, so I
install on another partition Crunchbang, and the
grub recognize well both Salix partitions!
So now I can test and compare on my 800 MHz Pentium 3: Swift Linux / Salix-fluxbox / Salix-ratpoison / Crunchbang and maybe I'll add a Livarp Linux.
Wouf! It's wasn't easy! I suppose my old hardware hasn't keep this task easy, but now it's ok!

Hardware is probably completely unrelated here. It seems to me as if something went wrong during the
grub-
install steps that prevented some files from getting properly installed or loaded.
