Yes JRD started working on it as well => http://enialis.net/~jrd/salix/kernelive ... 1cp-alpha/linus72 wrote:I also have successfully compiled a new 2.6.36 smp live kernel and also have the patches (aufs2/squashfs-lzma) for that as well
theres a bug with aufs2/posivxl on fat32 with the new aufs2/2.6.36 but that should be fixed soon...
I haven't seen how they do it. But I already had this functionality in ZenLive which I removed when rewriting LiveClone for Salix. JRD is working on improving & updating the Linux Live Scripts whose development seems to be totally halted & abandoned. When this is done, LiveClone will use the new LLS and will be executable from a standard environment.when you goes do get done with the liveclone is it going to be similar to how Vector did it with their live 6.0 wherein theres a older similar to linux-live in /root, etc?
Wow! yes! JRD will be thrilled! Is the result still 100 % Slackware compatible?I also have a 64bit version of linux-live-6.3.0 if you guys want to put out a live 64bit cd
Yes nFluxOs is an amazing project, I'm sure we can learn from you. Thanks for your offeranyway, if you need anything holler as I have accumulated alot of stuff concerning livecd making
