Wow - what a fine tool ! Didn't know of it .. is that a Slackware special tool or is there something comparable for Debian ?

Do you use the preinstalled repositories from Salix or do I have to add something there to get osmo with slapt-src ?

Only slackware as far as I know http://software.jaos.org/

A configuration file is included with the Salix install that has default repos . See /etc/slapt-get/slapt-srcrc
Just like slapt-get you need to update the local cache

Code: Select all

root[rich]# slapt-src --update
Fetching slackbuild list from http://salix.enialis.net/slkbuild/13.37/...Cached
Fetching slackbuild list from http://www.slackware.org.uk/slackbuilds.org/13.37/...Cached
Salix 13.37 also includes a gui front end called sourcery. The launcher is in the System menu.
