I've uploaded Osmo and a couple of deps. Testing is welcome:

http://people.salixos.org/toothandnail/ ... 86-1pm.txz

It requires libgtkhtml and libgringotts:

http://people.salixos.org/toothandnail/ ... i486-1.txz
http://people.salixos.org/toothandnail/ ... 86-1pm.txz

There are also 64-bit builds - look under http://people.salixos.org/toothandnail/x64/

Code: Select all

osmo: error while loading shared libraries: libical.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
libical (iCAL protocol implementation)

Code: Select all

# slapt-get -i libical
libtar (tar file manipulation API) - libtar is not required to get Osmo to start

Code: Select all

# slapt-get -i libtar
edit: It is working, thank you so much!

Sorry about that - should have suggested you download the .dep file. I only listed the deps that aren't already in the repos.

Glad its working for you.

Same question here. It's an excellent package and I would like to see it more generally and easily available.

My fault. First I upgraded my laptop hard drive, took a while to get things shifted to the new drive. Second, I've been flat out at work (i'm currently fighting to get e-box (or whatever its new name is) working with two WAN connections), and having problems with Vector repo maintenance (hopefully now solved). Ended up with no time to fix a few glitches in the build scripts - the worst one being makng sure the download links work. I always have trouble with Sourceforge links...

I was also hoping to get the libsyncml support working, but its proving to be a bear to get a working build of libsynml.

Hopefully have a bt more time next week or the week after. I've also got an update to Medit that needs to go up - fixes the 'select all' from the menu bug.

Try slapt-src.

Code: Select all

root[rich]# slapt-src --se osmo
osmo:0.2.10 - Osmo (Handy Personal Organizer)
root[rich]# slapt-src -i osmo
The following packages will be installed:
 osmo

Slackware package /usr/src/slapt-src/office/osmo/osmo-0.2.10-i486-1_SBo.txz created.

Installing package osmo-0.2.10-i486-1_SBo...
