Actually, I personally think Vector Linux and Zenwalk are better than the others people have suggested so far.

Other Slackware based distros include Slax and CDLinux.

I still find Wolvix to be an extremely strong contender - they have a great software selection - but my enthusiasm is partly based on their design. It looks cool, IMO.

Another one is Austrumi. I haven't looked at it lately, though, so I don't know how good recent versions are.
