[SOLVED] gslapt will downgrade

Postby Atip » 10. Jun 2012, 00:20

After I changed to other mirrors in gslapt in order that my new BroadBand server will open
the sites gslapt now wants to downgrade quite a few programs among others firefox-13 to
firefox-12.

I changed back to the original sites of gslapt and open it with my old server, however, the
problem persists.

How can I get gslapt stop this downgrading attempts?

You can exclude the packages that you don't want downgraded in Gslapt preferences.

Thanks, I know that but that's not really the solution since there are quite a few and it does not make sense to exclude firefox.

Have you set the repository priorities properly? They should be the same way they were by default.

Yes they are the same as the original repos :OFFICIAL which were:

http://salix.enialis.net/i486/slackware-13.37/ and
http://salix.enialis.net/i486/slackware-13.37/extra

Where does gslapt pick-up this wrong information? Any files to delete or uninstall all-together
and reinstall gslapt?

These are only slackware repositories. You're missing the salix repository.
