OK...Sorry for the surly tone...I plead advanced and acute curmudgeoness.

My original post had nothing to do with multimedia buttons, it was a response to a general tone that I sensed (rightly or wrongly, and if it was wrongly I apologize profusely) from a concentrated reading of select threads in this forum.
