having some means of making a donation

I havnt seen a way of being able to make a donation - think this would be neat. Reason being I have installed on both my laptop and desktop and both are better than ever. I even found this link to install 32bit apps on a 64bit system http://www.hydronitrogen.com/374 so now I can use wine, and on the desktop the previous graphic problems have gone. So I just would like to make a donation to show my appreciation.

At this moment, Salix OS is a spontaneous association of good will without a legal entity of its own which would permit it to receive material gratification of some kind. This will probably change at some point as Salix OS has proven it is here to stay and sooner or later, as a part of our natural growth, we may need to formalize things a bit.

When we do, then will we be able to do such things as raise funds by means of collecting donations, or selling some items or even some services which in turn will help pay for server costs, buy test and build machines, organize meetings and send delegations to Open Source gatherings, Linux trade shows and the like.

Yes, I have many AMEX Gift Cards with small balances left that I would like to use for such, but PayPal does not allow. It would be good to be able to donate these many small balances which, cumulatively, is not insignificant.

You might possibly offer SalixOS merchandise via Cafe Press, Zazzle or some similar outlet, and encourage users to support their favorite OS by purchasing goods.
