I consider Salix very good distro - thanks guys - in return I`ve made some simple tutorials in the wiki:

phpMyAdmin
Server www + PHP
sharing printers via CUPS
PDF printer
install MS fonts - Arial, Times, etc - found this on the forum somewhere

Excellent! Documentation is such a great need.

Thank you very much. :)

What really matters is where you are going, not where you come from.

BTW: E-mail providers may block mails sent by a home IP. I'd recommend to use email.

@JRD:
Default FROM is your username@hostname. I can remember that several years ago that was quite easy to forge any FROM with sendmail but now I don`t know how to do it. In fact I never needed it. I`m using this solution only for automation of sending machine-generated PDF reports to people who at home (at night for example) but they need to track these reports somehow. The simplest method to forge FROM would be to define your /etc/HOSTNAME I guess.

@Gapan:
Does email allow to send an attachment?

@thenktor:
This might be possible, however e-mail provider for our company (we use external mail accounts) doesn`t block this e-mails.

Yes, you can do anything that you can do with any email client: attachments, cc, bcc, gpg encryption...

Another one, this time I extended an existing entry for LILO:
LILO bootloader - fix, configure and customize
Could you please look into this for essential errors.
