Are there any plans for a 64-bit version of SalixOS?

Hi Caitlyn. Fancy meeting you here.....

A short quote from the mailing list:
As you already realized I have a 64bit port ready. :)

I have uploaded the 13.0.2RC1 iso here:
http://pnboy.pinguix.com/gapan/salix/x86_64/

This is actually a releace candidate. I don't think there's anything wrong with it and will probably just be renamed to 13.0.2 after a few more tests. It should work in exactly the same way as the i486 counterpart.

The x86_64 repository is right next to the i486 repository in any of our mirrors. Not all i486 packages have been ported over, but there is already a good number of packages there.

If you have a 64bit CPU, please test and report if you find anything out of the ordinary.
So I guess the answer is yes....

Wow, great timing. The iso has only gone semi-public (mailing list) today. :D
