User often complain about using Iceweasel instead of Firefox. I know that it's the same, only difference is in some artwork and license. But is this license a problem for us? Slackware uses Firefox, too. Who can tell me more?
We use the same firefox as slackware does. If mozilla.org comes after us and asks us to change the name, we do it then (or switch to another browser ). But I have the slight suspision that this will never happen.
I prefer Iceweasel because we can modify the default starting page, and apply some patches or default extensions. I also want to submit my personal patch for Iceweasel/Firefox about the md5sum which is did each time the browser is launch or closed. I also have a patch to make it work if you use two different screens (no xinerama) or two displays.

What's the default Firefox starting page? I guess google with Firefox logo? Personally I think this is OK, I don't like these "distribution web site as start page" anyway. Who want's to see them each time?
Firefox might be a better choice simply because it will avoid a lot of questions from new users. Like Gapan said, we can always just change it in the extremely unlikely event that mozilla complains.
I don't really care about that default stuff and as gapan said there are other ways to do it. It got pretty annoying on the Zenwalk forum that about once a week a user asked what iceweasel is or why we use it. So I prefer firefox as the default browser.
