Can I make a suggestion? When a dep file does not contains packages version, do not display the ">=" strings as you can see here:

dbus >= , dbus-python >= , gst-python >= , gtkspell >= , pyOpenSSL >= , pygobject >= , pygtk >= , python >= , pyxdg >= ,

It's not very beautiful.
For other repositories that provides the information, I think it would be better to use "≥" rather than ">=", looks prettier for me.
What do you think ?

Also, what is the arch "x86" ?

So basically x86 and i486 refer to the same type of architecture repo ?

i486 was an old proc released around 1990 from x86 family.
depends from what arch is used to built the package,
i think is better talk with Salix packager, about repository name maybe is more correct to put x86 than i486

AS you can see, Slackware name their package with i486 like aaa_base-13.37-i486-3.txz, not x86. So Salix follow the same naming schema.

I don't think dependencies with ">=" are really correct. You can not know if any newer version will work, too. It's more like "you need at least this version, newer version may still work". But actually I just wanted to troll a bit

Yes, it is a x86 repository. But you need at least an i486 processor (or compatible) to run the binaries.

Well I have an example. thunar-plugins, which use thunarx-1, are not compatible with thunarx-2. They need at least recompilation, and for some of them, some patching.
But hey, it's the choice of those distributions, here teos99 is making a search engine.
