Google earth install apckage where is.

Postby bandog » 1. Aug 2011, 13:54

Im quite new to Salix but I do understand Slackware. I am looking for a Google Earth package.
On the Google page they only have packages for deb and rpm
So I got an rpm, but the rpm2tgz does not want to deal with it.
I tried Gslapt-get (GUI). But it failed miserably.
Even the command line
#slapt-get --install GoogleEarthLinux.bin
does not seem to work.(Tried various variations of this.)
The GUI also does not Update to show and Google Earth packages. Is there something else?
