Post subject:  Salix 13.0.1 ISO ready for download
We have created a 13.0.1 ISO for download. This release only adds some small bugfixes and software upgrades, so it will simplify new installations. The new ISO can be found on our download page:

List of changes from the 13.0 ISO:
* default slackware repositories have dependency support
* updated xfce with fixed utf8 mounting bug, notification enabled and manual cd eject using the cd button fixed.
* fixed Swiss French keyboard setting in keyboardsetup
* lvm2 is now included by default
* xfce4-xkb-plugin has been included
* default theme for claws-mail is gnome-brave
* updated rest of the packages with security fixes and some new releases
* fixed root user icon theme
* /etc/rc.d/rc.services.new is now moved to /etc/rc.d/rc.services without needing to run dotnew
* several other small fixes

PS: It's not needed to reinstall an existing system, just update all your packages with gslapt as usually.

For the french speaking users ;) :

L’équipe de développement de Salix OS a décidé de mettre à disposition une version mise à jour de la dernière version stable sortie. Cette version contient entre autre :
– Le répertoire Slackware a un support complet de gestion des dépendances
– Mise à jour de la version Xfce de Slackware incluant une correction du bug relatif à l’automontage et l’UTF-8, et à l’éjection manuelle des CDs/DVDs, les notifications du bureau sont désormais fonctionnelles
– le bug de gestion du clavier suisse français est fixé
– lvm2 est inclus par défaut
– le plugin xfce4-xkb a été inclus
– le thème par défaut de claws-mail est gnome-brave
– de nombreux packages mis à jour incluant des corrections de sécurité et des nouvelles versions
– le bug du thème d’icônes de root est fixé
– /etc/rc.d/rc.services.new a été renommé /etc/rc.d/rc.services, comme cela plus besoin de lancer « dotnew » après l’installation
– …

Une nouvelle image ISO est donc disponible via Sourceforge et via le réseau Bittorrent:
