Yes alpha are on the way. I will make an announcement probably today....But it's alpha.

xfce version works fine on my laptop, I discovered xfce cause of a problem with KDE version on this laptop (I talk about it on "Salix KDE 13.37" topic), ant it was a good surprise.
I knew xfce at the time when it was near to lxde, but now it is very complete and can replace Gnome easily or any one else.
