I noticed that Java plugin stopped working somehow in Firefox. It seems icedtea-web and openjre are installed.
strange, it used to work some time ago. What happened?
Can anybody confirm this in Salix 14 ?
Java plugin?
Re: Java plugin?
Is it safe to assume (for testing purposes) that RC1 + upgrade is identical to RC2?
Re: Java plugin?
Mostly yes. The only other difference so far is that I have disabled the screensaver by default. There have been a few cases with graphics cards crashing with some screensavers, so I think it's better like this.mimosa wrote:Is it safe to assume (for testing purposes) that RC1 + upgrade is identical to RC2?
Re: Java plugin?
How do you reenable it? I know I could find out, but I am lazy Seriously, it is good to have that on record in the forum.
Actually, perhaps the best place would be in the final release announcement.

Re: Java plugin?
OK but that only works if you're using XFCE. But fair enough (I am using XMonad). I still think it merits a mention in the final release announcement.
Re: Java plugin?
No, it's in the menu of every desktop.mimosa wrote:OK but that only works if you're using XFCE. But fair enough
Re: Java plugin?
