I recently came across salix os whilst looking for a light weight slackware. I've been running it in virtualbox on a debian system and then installed it on a eeepc 701sd. I am really pleased with salix and how well everything is put together and how well polished salix is. A big well done to everyone involved, i am now running current with no problems.
